Building mental resilience

21 Aug

By: visionary

Sometimes we forget that the mind and body are interlinked. If we are thinking negative, we will feel negative and then we will come across negative in our interactions with others.

An action to help yourself is to capture each thought and ask yourself, what would be a better way to be thinking right now.

Our physiology can also have an effect on how we are feeling. If we are sitting slumped in a chair, we will not have the best impact on how we feel mentally. Research has shown that power poses can have a positive impact on our mental confidence when approaching challenging situations.

An action to help yourself is sitting and standing upright when facing challenging situations. This will help you to feel and come across more confident.
